Tapbots was founded 15 years ago today! Okay, yesterday to be exact. But to celebrate this moment in our timeline, we are finally releasing some Tapbots and Ivory goods over on Cotton Bureau! @ivory Well, this is it. You now added all the features I ever wanted to have. Thank you so much! You made Mastodon feel like home. Ivory for Mac will be released tomorrow! We’ve decided to keep things simple as far as subscriptions go. If you paid for “Premier”, you’ll automatically get access to the Mac app as we have changed “Premier” to “Universal”. If you paid for “Pro”, you’ll get the same access to “iOS + iPadOS”. If you upgrade to “Universal”, your sub date will reset and you’ll be refunded the remainder of your Pro subscription.

@ivory awesome! Loving it! God a bug on Intel Macs… namely that the column layout isn’t persistent between reboots. need more info? @ivory where do I see all this Premier and Universal stuff? In the subscription settings I can’t find a plan a plan that gives me access to all three devices. Ivory for iOS/iPadOS 1.4 is out on the App Store! Sorry all. The Mac build stopped working because we didn't push an update out for awhile. Just a TestFlight thing. New build is out and should be working again if you update. Also we are getting closer to releasing Ivory v1.4 for iOS and finishing up a few final things for the Mac App Store release. We appreciate your patience on this!

 The ability to read alt/description text on an image is coming next. FWIW, I'd also really like to be able to see the image while I'm writing alt-text. @ivory I had Tweetbot on everything, but then I got bored of Twitter, then Elon fucked it & I got interested because the wife was, now she’s not.. at least the code is mobile, I’m not your target audience am I.. 🥰 @ivory do you want bug reports through Testflight directly? (I just sent one, but I two some devs. are not fans on how they get those and would rather have testers use other means) Some of you with active subscriptions have reported issues with the app thinking you aren't subscribed or unable to "Restore Purchases" on another family device. This is because Apple is currently having some issues with Receipt Verification. We will try to fix this temporarily on our end until Apple sorts the issue out. Thanks for your patience!

@ivory I subscribed thinking I hadn’t yet, how can I know if I have a duplicate sub now? I do only see one receipt in my inbox so maybe it’s just a coincidence my trial expired during the outage, but I’d like to make sure.  @ivory is there any way to see just the regular posts (not posts and replies) for an account when I click "View All Posts" on the account page? by default it seems to show both posts and replies, which makes it really hard to scroll down and find an older post I'm looking for from an account Say Hello to Ivory.  @ivory I use Mastadon every day. I'd really like to get into the beta if a spot opens, thanks! New Early Access website is up which shows our current roadmap. It’s not a comprehensive list, but it will give you an idea of where our main focus is. We will update the list as we go.

@ivory can you please add “select language when posting” to the roadmap? Not all world speaks English, and this is a great Mastodon feature for people outside 🇺🇸 We plan to open up 2000 more TestFlight spots Tomorrow, Thursday, January 5th. We intentionally left out the option to revert back to the previous hidden action buttons in the timeline so we could get a sense of what you thought. Preference seems pretty evenly split so we will be adding back the previous way to access post actions as an option in the next build. Thanks for all the feedback! 🙂
