Tip: If you mute someone within our app, you can choose NOT to hide their posts completely so you still see when they post and can tap to read them when you want.

@ivory curious about the muting filter words, since if you write fan as an example it mute every word with those 3 letters in it and not just the word “fan” alone - so it’s not that useful right for my using. Is it limited here so it can’t be the exact word you mute? So it just takes whatever word where those letters are in?? Curious, if I should stop using filters because it removes a lot more than I want to on my timeline, hmm 🤔 keep up the great work, thanks for being a part of Mastodon 🐘

Btw is the.read state supposed to sync with read state in the mastodon advanced web client? Just opened the app after a few weeks and I see a „1000+“ unread badges for home and notifications whereas all are read in web

@ivory Is setting the toot language and the ability to only show toots of certain languages on the radar? Lack of the former is why I still need to resort to Iced Cubes for writing.

@ivory So it appears that if I add a user to my filters, I can hide them from my timelines but they can still be to displayed in my lists? Seems to work, but if I switch to a different app I still see them, so assume the filter is being set in Ivory configs and not on the instance server.

FWIW, I'd also really like to be able to see the image while I'm writing alt-text. That's been kind of a showstopper for me using ivory
