  @cawhitworth It works for the web filters and ours now! Also works for people you mute in ours (which I believe the web mute doesn't have). @ivory Nice! Since y’all are working on alt text, have you thought about adding an optional feature to alert users when they’re about to post a toot with an image that doesn’t have alt text? @FlatFootFox We will see what we can do. When I mute someone I don't want to see any posts from that person/account?  @ivory Oh. I was trying to mute someone earlier and got upset becuse I could still see their posts. I think of mute as “I don’t see you but you see me” as compared to block. But I wound up blocking them because ei couldn’t figure out why mute wasn’t. Haha I’ll try again.  @ivory In other news, I see the image I. Your toot has ALT but who can I see the alt text? I’ve tapped, long pressed, swiped, called up toot details. I’m experiencing a discovery fail somewhere.  @ivory I’m not seeing that option when I go to mute someone from their profile. It just turns on or off. Is it located somewhere else? @chase By default, "hide completely" should be off. But if you go to the Filters tab, you can customize them.  @stevenfeldman Yes. They are basically the same. Mastodon uses filter for keywords and mute for people. So we've tried to follow that.  @ivory Kind of like Twitterrific’s Muffles feature. Love it! So we don’t have to tap each filter to discover) 2. Is there a way to “name” a filter? For example if I am trying to filter out “ratherlongangryhashtagtopic” but instead it would just display “🤬” in the list or in-line with my timeline? @ivory curious about the muting filter words, since if you write fan as an example it mute every word with those 3 letters in it and not just the word “fan” alone - so it’s not that useful right for my using. Is it limited here so it can’t be the exact word you mute? So it just takes whatever word where those letters are in?? For example if you want to filter out the word "me", but not "sublime" nor "mentor”, you use “\ me\ “. There's a space after each \. Do you have any idea when I'll be able to do that? @jmuscara When the Mac app is on the store.   @ivory great, good luck! Btw is the.read state supposed to sync with read state in the mastodon advanced web client? Just opened the app after a few weeks and I see a „1000+“ unread badges for home and notifications whereas all are read in web @ivory I follow several hashtags but i can't see a badge next to any of them when they appear in my timeline. How is this supposed to look like? Is there something in the settings? iPad Pro, latest OS @ivory I’m really enjoying your app. Thank you for all your hard work. @ivory I’m not sure from trying it earlier — are mute filters in Ivory synced with the backend/web/other clients? I couldn’t see some of the filters I made a while back in the web client @ivory It would be great to be able to look and see what happens in other instances.

Without it I doubt I would be as comfortable with Mastodon as I am. @ivory just started using this and think the thing that’s missing is ‘extract text from image’ for alt text descriptions. This is so useful in other clients @ivory If you can implement a way to collect threaded posts and join them together so that they're all in one place and not scattered all over the timeline, I will pay you five-eleventy quintillion dollars. @ivory very cool!! By the way I can't figure out why tapping the top of the screen doesn't jump to the latest toots. It just doesn't do anything. And my Home time line hasn't been refreshed in 2 weeks on iPad. Am I doing something wrong? @ivory Is setting the toot language and the ability to only show toots of certain languages on the radar? Lack of the former is why I still need to resort to Iced Cubes for writing.  @ivory Is Hide with a Warning the same as Hide Completely? I can’t figure out what the former means after browsing the comments. @ivory So it appears that if I add a user to my filters, I can hide them from my timelines but they can still be to displayed in my lists? Seems to work, but if I switch to a different app I still see them, so assume the filter is being set in Ivory configs and not on the instance server.  @ivory Any news on the keyboard disappearing and re-appearing when sharing to Ivory? Also it now seems to happen when replying to some toots? @ivory any chance you can display everyone’s followers when you click on them (rather than just the ones from that server?). Also can we get the colored icon that is you current avatar?🙏 @ivory I follow both of these accounts but the Hiking hashtag badge is displayed. Is that expected behavior? @ivory dear ivory team, thank you so much for all your hard work on both the Mac and iOS side! I just one question: is something like „threaded replies“ (as for example woolly or Mona do them, just in the reply to a post view, not in the main timeline) planned?
