 Sorry all. The Mac build stopped working because we didn't push an update out for awhile. Just a TestFlight thing. New build is out and should be working again if you update. Also we are getting closer to releasing Ivory v1.4 for iOS and finishing up a few final things for the Mac App Store release. We appreciate your patience on this! 60 comments
  @ivory ok, so I’m not crazy. I’ve been trying to figure this out all day with troubleshooting 🤦🏻♂️ @orthoheterodox Lots of little things, but the main feature we've been working on is completely revamping our media viewer system which includes ALT text.  @ivory I only just got affected by it, but now I can’t start Ivory and it’s still showing version 0.8 that was released back at the end of March. Hopefully a new build will show up soon 😁  @ivory I'm not seeing any update. The version I have is 0.8 (13122), released 3/29/2023. It's still working, though. My mistake. We pushed the update to Apple, but has to go through review still. 🤦♂️ Will hopefully get released tomorrow.  Yaay. Apple has approved the Ivory for Mac TestFlight update and the App no longer closes shortly after launch. @Athavariel Lots of little things, but the main feature is a completely revamped media viewer with proper alt text visibility. Trying to do all of the photo posting and whatnot from my phone is an absolute disaster. I *need* this :( (Absolute disaster not because of ivory but mostly because organizing photos on phone is just terrible)   @ivory mac testflight apps can just stop working before expiration? not heard of that before  I was also "removed from the test program" — what does that mean and how do I get back in? @akachalo Our beta has been full from the first week in. Just have to wait until the official release (which is hopefully soon).  @ivory The previous Ivory for Mac TestFlight build recently started crashing at launch. The new one works like a charm! @timstringer Yea we had the app set to automatically time out after 30 days and just didn't get an update out in time. @ivory Thanks for the heads up and I appreciate your quick response to this issue. It’s good to be back up and running on the Mac! @sararielle Honestly not sure. We have no control over the testflight settings. Maybe the email is going to your spam box? @sararielle Oh it might be based on how you are signed up for testflight for a specific app. Since ours was a public invite, we didn't capture your email address if you just joined yourself. Maybe for the other app you are testing, you provided an email address to get invited? @ivory Good to hear. By the way: Will the final macOS version also be working on Monterey? @datom No Ventura is the baseline. Monterey had way too many issues with a complex catalyst app like ours. |
