@marcthiele We always set our updates to roll out over 7 days in case there's a bad bug that got through and we want to fix before everyone gets the update. π

@dxzdb I think one is actually Tweetbot and turned to Ivory when made that option to transfer your tweetbot sub to ivory. If you never ran tweetbot before, then I donβt know. π

@thecarlfrancis Do you have your device on low power mode? That code is pretty simple and it works fine otherwise we'd get a lot of complaints about it not working properly.

@ivory You forgot to mention my #1 request that you fixed! Holding down on an image while viewing it now shows the menu of options like Save Image! Thank you! No more playing peekaboo with the gear icon!!!

@ivory Oh I know it will. For some reason it is THE one feature Iβm so desperate to have in Ivory. Oh by the way, will it be possible to preview GIFβs without adding them to the compose window, and then having to delete it if it isnβt the right GIF? Possibility of a larger selection window instead of the horizontal scrolling ?

@ivory One ongoing small niggle that I just spent several minutes being really confused about. The About page doesn't have the version number on it. Took some trawling before I eventually found it at the bottom of the settings page.

@leffie yes we plan to give people more options when it comes to loading/refreshing timelines. What we are doing now is actually way more complex and preferred by most people. π

@leffie yes our app when it was on twitter was always known for remembering your last read spot so you can continue reading where you left off. But we know people want the option to start from the top as well. Itβs something we will figure out an elegant solution for.

@rob itβs on our list. But honestly very few people need this and so we are focusing our efforts on features and bugs that impact a lot of users. We will get to this eventually.

But to be honest as well, this is a reason I (temporarily?) stopped using Ivory (despite having a yearly subscription) and did not upgrade my subscription to include the Mac version (yet?). Instead I'm using a client that (already) does this right.

@ivory About βCopying post...β β I prefer the old behavior where only the text is copied and not the URL, since I often copy my own posts to post elsewhere (a certain 280-character site, Facebook, Discord, etc). @rinclarity Unfortunately we don't want to make options or toggles for such a simple action. If we get a lot of complaints about the change, we would rather revert it back than have more options.

@ivory Fantastic update! A small feature request would be to have the option to set any column as the βHomeβ timeline on the Mac, not just the first one.

@ivory The only thing I still miss is the custom icons/emojis of the instances. It seems partially supported if it in the profile icon, then it shows as badge, but in the text is it not yet rendered.

@firecat not true at all. Our website states itβs a subscription and the App Store explicitly has a subscription section stating them as seen in the photo. Itβs not our fault the button to download doesnβt state it. Thatβs something Apple would need to fix.

@ivory I've just updated Ivory for Mac and it's lost my subscription, and restoring purchases doesn't work π I updated Ivory for iOS too and that didn't have a problem.

@jamesog are you sure thatβs not the TestFlight version of the app? Check your applications folder for multiple versions of ivory.

@ivory Definitely not. I removed the TestFlight version a while back, but just in case I double-checked: only one copy of Ivory.app and the TestFlight app doesn't have Ivory in it. Reckon it's worth trying to reinstall it? Seems like something got confused.

@jamesog yea try that. Most of the time this issue is because of the TestFlight version. But you are the second person to report this so keeping an eye on this one. Try reinstalling and let us know if restoring the purchase still doesnβt work.

@boda no that was always there. Hold down on one of the last 3 tab buttons at the very bottom and you can select the filter tab.

@ivory I have two timeline windows open on my Mac (for two different accounts). When I post a message (eg like this one), the notification that I posted the message shows up on the other timeline window, which is really weird and makes it seem like I posted on the wrong account.
