Did you know that mastodon.social is just one of many Instances of Mastodon the Software as Part of the Fediverse(federated Network) where you can register an Account?

And there are many other Apps on Android and iOS for it, not just Mastodon who tries to force you to register only on there Instance.

It has all the Stuff, being free, privacy-friendly, based on Web Standards and available for everyone. 😉

@Mastodon Normally I use #metatext but gave the new #mastodonapp update for iOS a try. Nice design and I can edit posts which Metatext can‘t.

What I don’t like:
- Pinned toots do not show in profiles. This sometimes buries some really great but older content 😏👎
- Visibility of toots can still not be set to „unlisted“. For me not a big thing as I compose longer threads in the browser. But it‘s a useful feature which was implemented for a good reason in mastodon and should be part of the M-app.

Unfortunately it hasn't resolved the biggest issue: the app doesn't load pictures/videos/gifs properly (doesn't load at all or load from different post) very frequently.
