But yes. What Twitter has turned into is depressing.

Some things becoming clear:
1) Mastodon is the ‘serious’ platform for folks who don’t mind working at it a bit. De-centralized so can’t be high jacked be an oligarch.
2) Post is the user-friendly, upstart alternative, geared for casual users.
3) Twitter is legacy. Still relevant, but compromised and corrupt.

With a GoDaddy created, #WordPress website, and an SSL certificate, I was able to set up my own instance, which allows me to instantly share my blog posts to Mastodon without effort. It just took configuring a plugin.
