It is literally illegal for Roma people to exist in the way they traditionally have within the EU itself. That needs to change. We are deeply disturbed and saddened by news of the death of Alexei Navalny. Putin fears nothing more than dissent from his own people. A grim reminder of what Putin and his regime are all about. @EU_Commission why are fools indulging the assange distraction from tragedy of Navalny, just disgusting @EU_Commission yet nobody takes the fight to the world's most notorious terrorist, putin. Can;t have it both ways, treat him as a politician to excuse cowardice towards dealing with him and a terrorist with your opinions. He should have never went back to Russia.   @EU_Commission none of these: instead I want stronger laws limiting the usage of data brokers & stricter terms for what "legitimate interest" means for cookies & third-parties: I regularly see websites with hundreds of "legitimate interest" "partners" – there's no way that's being responsible with my data. Also making one-click opt-out of non-functional cookies mandatory: many sites lack this.  @EU_Commission "You are in control of the data you share. Full stop." 😂 Yeah, ehrm, not really. Data brokerage, Web tracking, manipulative cookie banners, opt-out features in smartphones, corporate social media deemed necessary to find jobs etc., scoring-bullshit like SCHUFA, TOS of almost unavoidable services ("Gatekeepers") that still collect data en mass and last but lot least YOU (with all yoir chatcontrol and total surveillance fantasies) completely and utterly invalidate your statement.

@EU_Commission Charles Babbage (b. 1791, d. 1871) might not agree with the first statement. He invented the first digital computer a century before chips, other than potato chips, were invented 😎 And first potato chip recipe is from year 1817. @EU_Commission there will not be innovation if time is wasted for stupid initiatives like #chatcontrol

@EU_Commission I am a big fan of the EU, I really liked this survey as well the ideas for the new Euro bank notes, however, I was really disappointed in the end where I couldn’t pick my country as if it doesn’t matter. I am a bit worried that when the new bank notes are designed, their design will supposedly represent Europe as a whole but actually will focus only on a handful of countries and people in the rest of Europe find it disheartening and disappointing @EU_Commission I was meh about most of these until I got to the birds. Birds!!! I hope if this wins, the 500 euro banknote features the bird most common in all European capitals: the humble pigeon. You can call it a dove for marketing purposes.

@EU_Commission "Their messaging apps will have to interoperate with others." Does that mean that if I have, lets say, Signal, would I be able to text people on WhatsApp? Because "their messaging apps" is clear. But the "others" is a bit vague, unspecified. And 6 months to implement that... I dream of that happening, but I doubt they would do in such a short time. @EU_Commission can we also get a common digital market? One that allows me in Brussels to access the contents of Portuguese public tv online? This means that you will soon be able to recharge most of your devices with the same charger, making piling up bundles of cables a thing of the past.  @EU_Commission it means I have to throw away my usb-a chargers which worked for all devices (including Apple)  @EU_Commission thanks for putting an to that annoying innovation in plugs and connectivity. They denied most of Babyn Yar bodies belong to Soviet times executions of 'wrong people', basically people who looked wrong for foreign occupyers like Arkadiy Golikov, they'd be killed. And there's been plenty of rapes and lootings too, foreign so called 'Bolscheviks' were not much different from Nazis and they persecuted Ukrainians for liberation struggle! @EU_Commission please this war will be over because Russian have no reason to fight. THEY HAVE been at war since 1980 in afghanistan. THEY HAVE HALF THE POPULATION now u.s.s.r. had and the average male dies at 58 mostly alchol. THEY WANT to party they are middle class not warriors that was 70 years ago no one want Russian now. THE HAVE fleed the country , workers have left, the ones that forced to fight don't even bother to destroy damaged equipment or bring out their dead. @EU_Commission this is absolutely bad. There's so much money wasted every day within the European Parliament. Maintaining a Mastodon server should be peanuts. Damnit!
