@Mastodon Could you consider adding more hashtag related features like ability to pin and easily access favourite tags and a way to see which tags are currently being followed?

@samhenrigold @Mastodon Comment/Thread loading seems quite sluggish on Android, if you're not already maybe preload these in the background before a message is clicked on?

@samhenrigold @Mastodon I think this new release is working. When I reopen it, and it shows the "new posts" ribbon/button, it opens all new posts ABOVE where I am in the list, so I can just keep scrolling down. Prior to yesterday, it would bump you up and you had to scroll down and try and find where your last read toot was.

I would accept the update if the purple theme returns. They should put theme color change options so that users can choose the one we like, not just the dark and light modes. The purple theme was the prettiest in the app and it's gone 😥

@Mastodon It's beautiful and adds in nearly everything I was missing. It's so much nicer on the eyes. Thank you! Only thing I can think of that's still missing is the lack of translation.

But you did leave at least one stone unturned, the server rules. Also, my filter for hiding links are meant for public timelines, yet it's being applied on home timeline. I can see your post on web app, but not on the Android app. I'll stick to the web app, the native app cannot be trusted.

@Mastodon maybe someone with a github account can open an issue about rules in dark client with black font on dark grey background make it nearly impossible to read (see screenshot or @rootadmin). Nevertheless, no other problems found so far. Thanks for a great project.

@Mastodon could you add unlisted as a privacy option to replies on the iOS app please. Replies appearing in the main timeline by default is annoying by the way.

@Mastodon *Beautiful app*. I'm going to stick with the Mastodon Web App on Android. Aside from the ability to save drafts, it seems to be the most feature-complete way to frolic about the evergreen Fediverse. Because the mobile app is the most obvious way new people will experience Mastodon, big kudos on the work here on the Android version! 👏 🏆 🤩

@Mastodon Great work guys and gals! This update is epic! Material You is popping! 😍 Everything is just smoother, more colourful and better. 👍 One request please: when tapping the "load missing posts" can you please make it so that the current post stays where it is and the new posts pop *upwards* rather than downwards because it pushes the last post I read down and I have to scroll like crazy to find it. Thanks 🙏

@Mastodon The only part of this I personally do not care for, is it automatically heads for google. Yes, I am aware android is a "google" derivation. However, I do not use anything directly google. If I could afford it, I would erase google (and friends) completely from my cheap little phone, barring my being able to purchase a device free from corporate sludge. I am learning, albeit slowly, to eliminate said sludge. Little by little. True, it is more difficult to utilize the web fully but soon.
