There has been much interest in #PeerTube, the Fediverse's video platform. It's really cool and its accounts can be followed from Mastodon etc. However, PeerTubers sometimes don't get followers and views, and they need followers for their videos to be noticed/searchable by the Fediverse's federation system, so it's catch-22. This cycle would be broken if more people followed PeerTubers, so here's a thread of some active accounts to follow! (And feel free to share!) 1/12

@FediFollows @dansup @pixelfed this is such a convoluted way to add one’s profile to it. I came here as an alternative to twitter, and I have to follow 4 steps recipe in mobile. Can you make it so we can do that with a single button? @FediFollows @dansup @pixelfed or a simple url that we can click to do all of that complicated stuff? @FediFollows @dansup @pixelfed I don’t understand. What is the point of this directory? Not being deliberately obtuse.. just new here. I would think something like this might be nice to help track one individual over multiple instances and time.. but it doesn’t look like that’s the purpose. Just a reminder of a couple of things: - You don't have to wait for me to randomly post interesting accounts to follow. I have a website at https://fedi.directory which has all the recommendations sorted into categories. - There are other #Fediverse directory sites such as the excellent Trunk at https://communitywiki.org/trunk and the splendid Fediverse.info at https://fediverse.info/explore/people. These other directories focus more on personal accounts, while FediFollows tends towards specialist accounts. 12
