@ivory Looking forward to this. The only reason I'd moved away from Tweetbot recently was that the Mac version seemed to be falling behind, so this is good news all round. Haven't found a Macstodon client I've liked so far, but Ivory looks very cute.

@ivory a great thing about Mastodon is that everyone can edit their posts. There is an extra space in yours.

@ivory I'm not an iOS user so I have no horse in the race, but are you limiting your app to interact only with Mastodon or do you have sights on other extremely similar open projects like Akkoma, Calckey, etc?

@ivory soooooooo... ivory is pretty problematic -- it is literally a term invented to objectify the dentine material of animal teeth and tusks for commerce, and represents a lot of bad stuff in colonized spaces (ivory trade, ivory tower, etc.).

I would take some time and seriously think about if this is something you want to stick with.

Split Notifications between "All" and "Mentions"

A dedicated DM panel.

The ability to change font size. ( big one for me )

The ability to use all of the features native to the web client such as "edit".

The ability to copy text to allow for the Iphones translation menu.

I'm sure there are more but I think this is a good list to start with.

@ivory Delighted to hear this. Tweetbot was the reason I was always a bit bewildered by complaints about twitter’s behavior, since Tweetbot was 99% of my interaction and didn’t have the same issues. Looking forward to having the same great user experience for Mastodon!
