@ivory @ivory @tapbots Hopefully NO Subscription. There you do not have the excuse of the ongoing cost of the api like twitter due its free of charge on mastodon. So I rather want one time payment and hate apps with subscriptions. For tweetbot I made a excuse and understood it with the reason twitter API usage costs. If you will add subscription to Ivory I won't consider it... @ivory @tapbots @joshuabeny1999 do you want one perfect version and no updates or improvements. Development isn't free you know. @tapbots @ivory @gilgamesh I know. But I rather pay once and have a great app. Maybe updates fist few years for bug fixes, etc. And then maybe all few years a new version which will be a small fee for upgrade. Like good notes or Affinity. @ivory @gilgamesh @tapbots Or a Model like Apollo. Essential features like posting are an one time fee for the pro version. If you want theming, more custom icons, notifications (which need servers), and more nice to have feature you could get a subscription. So anyone could decide what he want. Pay once or subscriptions for more nice to have features. there is also a possibility to have the Ultra as one time fee, but which is a rather high price of 4years @ivory @tapbots @joshuabeny1999 those are much better options. But only proposing a one time payment of a few credits would not be sustainable.   @ivory @tapbots this makes me so happy. I’ve been a dedicated customer for years. Happy to keep giving you my money.  @ivory Maybe if that had a description of the layout, I'd ask to try it. However I'm blind and use screen readers which don't yet describe images reliably. I'm saving this because I want to remember it as I design and work on the apps I am currently developing. As iOS developers we should be making sure that our apps are accessible and easy to use for everyone. Thank you! 💯 ❤️  @ivory @tapbots Please use and implement image alt tagging. If you mean your product to have a wide reach, we would all deeply appreciate the effort. You could start with the image you included in this very toot, which, alarmingly, is not alt tagged/ described. It would also be great if you engaged disabled product testers during your development process, especially Blind users. By that I mean recruit, engage, _pay_, and respect their feedback. Tweetbot has long been my favorite Twitter client on iOS and Mac. I am looking forward to Ivory capturing that user experience for Mastadon. This is giving me Twitter circa 2007 vibes, and I love it.  |
