I was using 16.04 until recently.

With having to use on-screen keyboards and a wireless mouse, from my bed, the word prediction and learning settings became a serious issue.

Whilst visiting a particular website, the keyboard software went into overdrive. Typing combinations of words "all by itself".

It rapidly installed other drivers and bios software.

I can't do physical things now, so, a store-fitted new motherboard, graphics card and hard drive later, a new install of Mint.

This usually happens if your amount exceeds some threshold, 1000 roubles in Russia. But if you use Google/Apple pay, it won't ask you the PIN either way, you just have to unlock your phone before tapping.

@Gargron Also the upper limit for contactless payment without PIN is 25€ I think, which is pointless if you're supposed to go shopping only once a week. (Which also conflicts with trying to eat healthy, which would require fresh produce.)

I guess it's safe to say that payment safety wasn't conceived with Covid-19 in mind.
