@Gargron Yeah — Twitter, THAT'S what happened. It's getting noisier and more toxic by the day. We're being overrun by Party-sponsored trolls and bots, fascist howlers, brainless show-biz celebrities and mainstream media hacks dropping shit-takes.

I've been evangelizing for Mastodon in "Birdland" every chance I get, every time a comrade or important dissident voice is restricted or silenced by Twitter.

I used to use IRC a lot. Then, as vision deteriorated, I switched to social media because that was where family was going.

Then, social media changed for the worse. My play on words were re-categorised from adult humour, where nobody' comments was safe, to abuse.

Yet, at the same time, other people' disgusting accounts of paedophilia types of "fashion model upskirt" photography, were allowed to stand. I phoned the police about those accounts and they shut them down straight away.

As for Twitter? I was surprised that it actually has more fake accounts than my ex wife had fake orgasms in the last 5 years of marriage. But then, she did tell me that she was thinking of me when she was out shagging other blokes, for drinks.

@Gargron Yes. A lot of people are bonding right now. 20-somethings sneaking a kiss in the streets. Young and old finding unlikely lovers. People in lockdown tired of the same'ol, same'ol and looking for someone real....or not.
