Very interesting listen considering that what @dansup is suggesting for the social web, Meta is doing between Threads, Instagram, and Facebook.
@photomatt 's suggestion to provide "adjustments" when sharing (intentionally) to other social contexts is worth considering given the reaction many are having to their Threads content appear on Facebook.

@chrismessina I’m amazed that a company acts as the guardian of an entire whole top-level domain and actively polices it. I thought domains were just administrative things until I read this. I own an .fyi domain so I’d better check the status of that!

@chrismessina might not hurt to have a user-agent option that would bug you, "hey, did you want to put any hash tags on that?", along with "here's ones you subscribe to" and (MAYBE) "here's a few our stochastic parrot thought were likely".

The only thing it's missing is #nostr support and then it'd be perfect
@chrismessina Interesting; I think this shows a marked difference in the internet discourse that men like engaging in vs. women. The difference is by about 15% in some cases, not always along party lines either!
