 Incredible how just in a few years, the smartphone went from "a device that's nice to have and allows you to contact people, access your calendar, play games and look up bus schedules on the go" to "a device you're absolutely required to own and have access to at all times because if you don't, you don't get a bank account, health insurance, public transit, or basically any online service required for enrollment in a school or an employment contract"

@schratze I saw someone who was justifiably proud that she'd done this, but she did not post her notes look up images for "Schottergarten" in your search engine of choice if you want to die inside "The most important part about job search is first finding yourself" no, the most important part is that I pay my rent and don't starve to death

@schratze i *guess* i can get what they're getting at, but it only really applies if you're looking for a better job while already having one also like, for example in my case my mental health implodes harder than the submarine if i end up in a job that isn't at least in some way engaging, so applies in that way too i guess  Facebook is a company that won't let you post boobs but it will gladly help you perpetuate a genocide. That's really all you need to know about them

Turns out it does matter which driver you select after all. Because that determines which options you have. Choose the wrong one and you won't even be able to issue a print job in greyscale
