these things are so fucking absurd to me. I wouldn't believe they exist if I didn't run across them constantly. I can't imagine what goes through the head of a person who decides to get a gravel garden instead of a, you know, garden

@hannah @schratze I've seen plenty of these in front of inhabitant owned houses. They even go so far as to create quadrants with different colored rocks which makes them not an ounce prettier to look at. One I saw had a metal flamingo thing sticking out between the rocks

@hannah @schratze here's a hideous one I've photographed some time ago. It also features flamingos. Also behold the concrete ducks

a gravel garden sectioned into different areas with dfferently colored gravel of white, grey and light red. there are mossy rocks and a figurine of a hedgehog with a poison mushroom, concrete ducks and metal flamingos “sprucing it up”
