@pixelfed Hi, I've just set up a PixelFed instance. What do I need to do to enable Import on my instance? I tried adding IMPORT_INSTAGRAM=true to the config file, but that didn't seem to do it.
@pixelfed What's the current status of development on mobile apps? Is it still planned to release a beta this year? This is a must have to convince my friends using pixelfed :/
@pixelfed@dansup I've got feedback from some heavy Instagram users that Instagram Import is the second most important feature for them (after federation). More important than MicroUI, Stories, etc.
Basically, lack of import is a show-stopper for them. Especially considering that Import does not seem to make sense for established accounts, and so if they migrate now, they won't be able to Import once it is implemented.
Would be great if you'd consider prioritizing it over other features.

@pixelfed you might want to make your promos with music that you have the actual license to use as I am pretty sure you don't have permission to use the Beetles for anything. Just a suggestion.
@pixelfed I currently donate using Patreon, is this the preferred method for donating? as you also seem to have a way to donate via OpenCollective or GitHub and possibly more.

@pixelfed question: what’s the state of federation between pixelfed instances? I have an account on admires.art and am having trouble finding pixelfed.social accounts in search.
@pixelfed No, Github issue tracker is no open to everyone. It’s not open to people who don’t want to be tracked by a GAFAM. Not to the millions of people in a country boycotted by the American government. Please, consider using Free Software forge.
