I've worked hard to ensure MastoAPI support in Pixelfed, and while I know i'm not guaranteed access to 3rd party clients, it's not a good look. All I can do is work to improve MastoAPI compatibility and hope they change their mind. https://beta-preview.pixelfed.io/guides/mastodon-api-compatibility  Edit: After some investigation, I found the issue and was mistaken, it was not intentional.  @pixelfed @digitalocean DigitalOcean has awesome tutorials for setting up a number of applications. Will they be creating a tutorial now for setting up a Pixelfed server on DigitalOcean?

 @dansup the point of the slide was to say people keep reinventing the wheel. There is an air table version you’re welcome to help keep up to date. Later on I get in to categories of these protocols and projects. There are many sometimes compatible protocols built on top of AP. In a big list on this one slide without what I said, you lose all the context.  I've never done a video interview for @pixelfed or any project before. Wouldn't it be amazing to make history with my first-ever interview on @loops, conducted by a truly Fediverse-focused media platform like @hello? Imagine the significance: the first Fediverse interview by a Fediverse-first media publication, distributed across the Fediverse itself. That would be something truly historic! Pretty cool what you can do when you don't limit yourself to others expectations 😎 @loops tl;dr - loops is the fediverse TikTok psst: you didn't hear it from me, but the cool thing about the loopies, you can connect a @loops server to your @pixelfed or @Mastodon instance and handle login with your local users, while maintaining a separate db/storage for loops. pretty spiffy if you ask this random guy with no connection whatsoever to the project @loops tl;dr - loops is the fediverse TikTok |
