Downside: It says "0 likes, 0 comments" still, likely the state when indexed.

Hey Dan, so excited about loops! Are registrations still open? If so, no confirmation mails are sent atm. I'm already signed up, but I told people to also sign up hehe :)

@dansup I realize that from a technical point of view a video being processed being uploaded again is an error. But I would not tell the user they made a mistake. This is a normal situation resulting from technical decisions made by the developers.

For the user I think something like «whoops, we are still processing your video, hang tight» would feel a lot better than an error message, indicating they did something wrong.

I don't see a play button there, unless I use FIrefox's picture in picture feature to "pop out" the video into a separate window. Using Picture in Picture though, it plays fine. Not sure if I'm missing something or if it's a bug.

@dansup Hi, somehow sharing from the Android App 1.0.8 doesn't work.

If I try to share my loop, I get the Android share menu where I can select Tusky for example and send a toot here. But that contains only the text "marcr shared a video!".

There is no video or link or anything else.
Same when trying to share over other messengers.

@dansup am I only one who thinks loops uses more internet data. Like I just opened it for 10 minutes and it used 300 MB data.

FYI: The share button does not actually create a link to share with this version, it only creates a text e.g. "dansup shared a video!"

@dansup I can view threaded comments, but the comments UI unfortunately crashes now with v.8 shortly after attempting to input from keyboard on Android. This bug is a regression from v7.

@dansup I'm not able to send in-app feedback anymore (running into a feedback error), but I did want to note:

I'd love a "Not interested", upvote/downvote mechanism, and I'd like to be able to block or mute a user from a video (rather than having to go to their profile -- the less clicks, the better)
