I just tried out #loops ... And it's working surprisingly well and stable for me. I thinking about making #gamedev mini vlogs and tutorials for this format. I hope federation starts soon so that the whole #fediverse can access the content there. What are your thoughts about this?  1. Any idea why it may be happening? Of note I also havenβt managed to upload a profile picture (no errors, it just never appears). It's rare that I need to lock an issue on @pixelfed repo. A social symbiosis where your inspiration fuels our creations, pushing us to reach for the stars. β€οΈ I have two big announcements: 1) Pixelfed is no longer pursuing ATProto/BSky support* 2) ActivityPub Starter Kits will be delayed by one more day until I can resolve safety concerns from other fedi developers I'm not going to risk safety just to ship Starter Kits now, even though it's tempting, I won't put people at risk. I hope you understand, and know that your voice is heard and is highly valued here at PixelfedHQ β€οΈ

 @dansup interesting discussion in there Glad that you are taking cues and listening to the feedback, though I do think the current challenges are more technical than political @dansup I saw that GitHub thread, sorry you have to deal with radical anti-VC like that. If there's a lesson learned from BS rising is that most social media users doesn't mind the cost of potential enshittification in a nondeterministic timeline. It's like telling people not to travel to Japan because of the earthquakes or America due to its daily occurrences of mass shooting in public places. Factual, but not helpful.  |
