Why is Loops getting Push Notifications before the Pixelfed app? Complexity, in Loops its under 50 LoC for Push Notification support since we are using Expo Notifications. For Pixelfed, we need to build WebPush support in the backend, and then setup a proxy server. That being said, I expect them to land in Pixelfed later this summer!

 @dansup @loops I'm withholding judgment until the final app comes out, but I have a lot of questions. What will discovery be like? How will you handle the server load? Is this just going to be vertical PeerTube? How will you search between instances? Will there be Public/Federated/Home timelines? I'm looking forward to seeing the results!   Why not show the username of the new follower right in the notification? This feels like one of those growth-hacking dark patterns no one likes.

@dansup I was excited until I read algo that can be trained. Configured is okay, trained is wrong. Now I am off the loop train. No loop for me. Sad. https://loops.video is a very promising ActivityPub platform for short form video, and could use your financial support to help fund and sustain this initiative! Where do we apply? I'm wanting to provide this as a locally owned and operated radio station to our local college and city. You can find us KOFO 1220AM/103.7FM   @dansup Could I be considered? I'm looking forward to having a functional short-form video platform on here! The core parts of #Loops are ready, this includes: - Camera I need to finish the Report feature and some basic onboarding to comply with app store rules, then we can launch the beta!! The Android APK could be ready later tonight 🫣

@dansup why is the highlighted tab smaller than the non-highlighted ones? In most UIs I've seen, it's the other way around.
