Edit: Fixed! https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/pull/4828 Pixelfed is not accurately calculating active users, the numbers should be higher, like way higher I just realized we are only storing `last_active_at` during in-app registration and if you viewed the home feed in the webUI Say you only use the app, you can create posts, follow accounts, like/share posts and comment and you still aren't counted as active My bad, I will fix this tomorrow π I'm working on libvips support in Pixelfed, it's much more efficient than GD or imagemagick!   @dansup It's because the forks are all created by cats and of course cats are going to fork the thing that has a "user is a cat" setting.  On the #pixelfed backend side, I recently shipped an ActivityPub fix to report proper status, follower and following counts I still have some work to do wrt follower sync, but this will fix the complaints regarding missing followers and counts Backfilling is on my todo list, nobody likes to see empty remote accounts π Another #pixelfedApp improvement is adding "Follows You", "Admin" labels when appropriate, and improving bio rendering by fixing Mastodon mention links, removing new lines, adjusting link colors and font weight This update will be pretty significant and address many concerns and feedback you've given me, should be ready to ship later today! β²οΈ Reminder, you can tap the 3 dots menu, then "Why you're seeing this post" if you are unsure of why a post is in your home feed!   @dansup for me all my posts in my home timeline just says "You navigated to this specific post". @dansup Nice we can really use this! @NuSkooler https://pubkit.net will be great for getting ActivityPub over the line for #EnigmaBBS I think.
