If you want cold water, you use cold and hot water for hot. You aren't expected to want to mix them...

@Gargron you're supposed to run your hands under the hot tap, curse when the water gets too hot, then quickly put them under the cold tap to ease the pain.

The split taps are because of hot water tanks being potentially dirty water so cold is separate and therefore definitely clean/drinkable.

I don't know a single person here in the UK who LIKES them but they're still the default.

@Gargron the main Reddit app is simply unusable with all its bloat - literally why I used to use a third party twitter client was the main app having a dump truck of ads and also Reddit but now both of them are gone. Apollo is Reddit for me.

Is there anything in the roadmap for (a) making it so admins can put LIMITS on the amount of invites users can create (there was a github issue for this but it got closed as "not on roadmap" recently, so I'm guessing very not) and (b) keeping track of the chain of invitations, so that if Alice invites Bob who invites ASDF1, ASDF2...ASDF47, each of who invites spambots, all those spambots can be identified as stemming from very probably Bob and possibly Alice as well?

Are you making any changes to your registration process to prevent the creation of spam accounts? We have had to limit mastodon.social twice as well as handling reports of spam. We don't want to limit Mastodon.social as a rule, but it is creating a moderation burden.
