@pixelfed I’ve not been able to get this to work previously. I can see my pixelfed account from mastodon, but don't see any posts, plus when I hit follow it shows as pending. Nothing on my pixelfed account looks awry privacy wise. I’ll have to give this another try as it's more than likely user error! "I joined Pixelfed and my first post was set to Public but minute or two later it was set to Unlisted, what's going on?" You trigged our anti-spam detection system, don't fret though! Your post is awaiting review by a human admin who can mark it as not spam and restore the Public visibility! Not all :pixelfed: servers have the anti-spam service enabled, those that do use it to keep the public timeline free from spam. It isn't personal, unless you're a spammer ❤️ #pixelfed #spreadTheWord

@pixelfed Is this something that will eventually be worked out? I’ve noticed Pixelfed instances are not federating with each other properly nor does it seem like they’re able to ciew Mastodon instance profiles fully (like other Mastodon instances). I can’t see all the posts on this account from pixelfed.social. pxlmo.com and pixelfed.social can’t see content from one another. Our new https://pixelfed.org website and server directory took longer than expected 😅 We are now focusing on improving federation support and releasing the Android app beta! #pixelfed

@pixelfed it's a really beautiful website! ⚠️ Experiencing federation issues ? We're aware that the increased activity due to the influx of new users is causing backlogs in our job queue and are working to fix this! We usually have no problem federating between Pixelfed and Mastodon or other software, and apologize for the inconvenience. #pixelfed

@pixelfed looks useful, not great to navigate on mobile though. Will have a browse later. @pixelfed Just like others I'm new to Mastodon. Decided to run my own instance. Surprised to find that I can't see any data my server knows nothing about, like replies on other servers. Any advice? "We choose to give back to the people the power to control their own social media destiny and do the other things not because they are easy, but because they are hard" - Pixelfed, and the 80+ other fediverse projects  @pixelfed where’s that photo with someone’s face in front of a dark-gray gradient background and the quote on the right side @pixelfed is your site up and okay at the moment? Says my content does not work and now the whole site is down... ✨ The new https://pixelfed.org website will also be rolling out later this week! Finding the perfect #pixelfed server will be much easier 😎

@pixelfed Hey, Pixelfed. I have a question. How would you explain the virtues of using a dedicated Pixelfed account over just posting photos/vids on your mastodon timeline? I was asked this question and I didn't have a good answer.... @pixelfed Hi, love the idea of this, have opened an account and have started learning about boosting Pixelfed posts on Mastodon. But ideally I'd love to import my Insta archive. Seems to be an option, but whenever I try it keeps failing. Is it still in beta, or are servers overwhelmed, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks! Our last post about the Android app and asking for 1k+ boosts in 24 hours was misguided and we apologize. We have removed that, and will release the android beta version this week. #pixelfedApp

I saw only a post once where it said something along the lines 'thanks for getting it up on !a2'(#AlternativeTo) as an alternative to #Instagram and I felt that was a #greyarea. You are good. We are human and makes mistakes, so be glad you are #human!
