@piratenpanda @pixelfed if you share with misskey instances all fancy stuff like Emote reactions is #misskey only. @victorvicpal @pixelfed and how can I follow my #pixelfed account from here?  @copdeb @victorvicpal just search in Mastodon for @name@instance of your PixelFed account, and once found, click on follow.  @copdeb put your #pixelfed ID in the search box (e.g. mine is @brunogirin@pixelfed.eu), it will show the account and you can follow it.  @copdeb you don't connect. #Mastodon and #Pixelfed are living in the #fediverse, meaning, accounts from both services can interact with each other as if they were from the same service, for instance, search for your pixelfed account (e.g. @your_pixelfed_username@pixelfed_hostname) from Mastodon and you will find it and be able to follow it and, favourite and repost your posts from pixelfed, as if they were Mastodon posts. @pixelfed I couldn't register on the app so I went to the website and tried twice to register and got this error twice. Arg.  @pixelfed Are you saying I can follow Twitter accounts from Pixelfed and Mastodon? Cool!  @pixelfed Would be nice if all Pixelfed-Features could be supported via native Mastodon/Fediverse functions and vice-verse 👀    @pixelfed is it possible to use one account? Maybe if they’re on the same server? Would be neat to just have two front ends for one account. @pixelfed you can and I do it 😁 my Pixelfed account @chaica is linked to my Mastodon @carlchenet account, allowing me to boost directly my Pixelfed post with images on Mastodon. Awesome 😎🫶 @pixelfed this is the example that I gave to my friends who are outsiders to #fediverse. And every single time they’re fascinated with the idea. @pixelfed as soon it’s on IOS App Store I’ll download the app. Sidenote I don’t have a Instagram or any other Meta account/product. @pixelfed I’ve not been able to get this to work previously. I can see my pixelfed account from mastodon, but don't see any posts, plus when I hit follow it shows as pending. Nothing on my pixelfed account looks awry privacy wise. I’ll have to give this another try as it's more than likely user error! |
@pixelfed Now we only need to be able to see likes and boosts from remote people we follow ;)
