To me a technical specification does not guarantee inner change. It sets conditions.
If you are the only lead dev, make sure you do not get bought like the Android lead developers.

I never joined IG because I didn't think Mark deserved even my login credentials. But I started a Pixelfed account as soon as I learned about it.

@pixelfed That would be amazing honestly. Both Twitter and Instagram used to be my favourite. And then the ads. Over and over again. More ads than content. Loud music. It became Snapchat and TikTok. (I'm on neither)..

@pixelfed What I like most about Pixelfed (and, I guess, the entire fediverse) is the non-pressure of being an influencer. There’s just no such thing on the site. Just a bunch of people sharing photos, art, etc.

please, don't advertise as instagram alternative for people to switch when there is no way to import instagram archive for quite some time, like August 2021. And all what can be read is "it is instagram fault, they changed format of archive".
