 I should have mentioned that the @pixelfed Parental Controls feature is meant for children that are 13 (USA) or 16 (EU) years or older. We are going to eventually add support for children younger than that, but it requires a lot more work and consideration. We want to assemble a panel of parents to help steward this feature, more details soon!

 I had a Google Home since it came out in 2017 and an Alexa for a few years and the Alexa randomly responds with the weather as if someone asked it. Could this be a ghost, and if so, maybe a ghost who prefers Alexa? (and is quiet as a ghost obvs) Ngl, I'm jealous of my youngest brother who doesn't have any wisdom teeth... like why do we even have them at all?? He is smarter than me, make it make sense... **shakes fist at evolution** @dansup My SO only has one wisdom toothβ¦. Maybe nature just runs into supply chain issues periodically. I had to get my wisdom tooth extracted, but on the bright side I seen a pack of deer leaving my favourite weed store ngl fedi devs are weirdos they either embrace it or hide it cheers to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes    @dansup 34, you're still a baby. You don't even ache all the time yet π   I'm sorry for not responding to issues and PRs promptly. Between @pixelfed, @fedidb, @supapp and pubkit I have my hands full. That said, I'm making an effort to be a better maintainer and encourage contributions. See for yourself, this is the comment that started this, compare that to the before (from 2 hours ago) vs after (now) I hope y'all don't think of me that way, I strive to be the best maintainer I can be, let me know your thoughts on how I can improve β€οΈ

@dansup @pixelfed I find it weird that we've now social platforms designed for mixed use: adults and children.
Back in the 90s and 00s, we had dedicated spaces for children online β yahooligans, gaia online, etc.
@dansup @pixelfed were does is huge gap between 13 in US and 16 in EU come from? The EU equivalent to US 13 is 12 here in the EU as far as I know.
