 @dansup @pixelfed @mspsadmin I like this idea. But having two pictures on the screen at the same time is distracting I think. Having one picture centered on the screen surrounded by white framing would look better and be more distraction free. And I think you'd want assisted scrolling to make that work well

I love @biomejs It's an essential part of my workflow while building the new Pixelfed app β¨ I know this may be controversial, but I'm considering delaying Stories in the new pixelfed app so we can get a v1 public release in app stores ASAP I will get Stories added in the weeks following the public release. I'd rather focus on and ship Push Notifications and delay Stories than vice versa. I think y'all would agree this is the right move π More progress on the Pixelfed app! Gosh this feels so much faster and cleaner π Canβt wait to ship this, now itβs open sourced we can target F-Droid and more! (Donβt expect me to merge every PR though, I have a solid vision for the app and you may be better off forking it)

 @dansup Did you forget to add a license? It's not FOSS without a license (and F-Droid wouldn't accept the app without one).  Will be working on the Pixelfed app refactor after work! The new app is much faster, leaner and open source!

I tried to work for Catodon devs, but my free time is so small nowday and I can't do anything :( Switching gears to focus on some Pixelfed bug fixes and improvements! - New Admin Settings Happy Friday! β¨ A much anticipated app update will be rolling out to Pixelfed for Android and iOS later today!  I successfully implemented the Stitch feature in Loops, it allows you to combine an existing video with your own without having to download, re-upload, splice, etc. It's similar to TikTok Stitch, and you will have the ability to disable this feature on your own videos so they can't be Stitched!  @dansup how will you represent the dual attribution in the stitched video? it would be interesting if if used some already existing scheme cause its sorta like a video quote post Should I ship some Pixelfed merch? This unnamed model is wearing a custom designed Pixelfed hat and tshirt.   |
