Thanks for this..gave it a quick spin...few initial comments.

Missing the retweet/retoot function...need this..
Can't figure out where to find likes/reactions to my posts.. (Notifications tab)
Need double tap for liking posts
Need horizontal swipes to move across tabs.

@pixelfed I've got the early release from Google app store but it still shows last update March 2024 - will this update also push through the app store?

Looks really nice. And some really cool new features

But if I'm not missing anything it lacks some crucial features of the current one, doesn't it?

* No multiaccount option, right?
* No dark mode.
* Discovery no longer working for me.
* A lot of switches regarding the presentation of feeds missing.

@pixelfed animated webp are now supported and that's what I was waiting for, keep it up
