 Just a friendly reminder, Pixelfed hides following and follower collections by default and provides an empty outbox. What this means is remote servers or entities who consume or scrape these endpoints will be met with empty/useless data. Pixelfed has always done this π

@dansup Does this mean that I'll be able to start following photographers on mstdn.jp too? (genuinely asking in good faith)  @dansup having options is good - I would not want us to just be "censored" in the Fediverse...  That's just for pixelfed.social, right? So any other server would still be able to have a different policy

  Edit: Fixed! https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/pull/4828 Pixelfed is not accurately calculating active users, the numbers should be higher, like way higher I just realized we are only storing `last_active_at` during in-app registration and if you viewed the home feed in the webUI Say you only use the app, you can create posts, follow accounts, like/share posts and comment and you still aren't counted as active My bad, I will fix this tomorrow π I'm working on libvips support in Pixelfed, it's much more efficient than GD or imagemagick!
