@pixelfed what will the money be used to do, other than pay for infrastructure? Is there a plan to fund work on specific features? What about paying other people to work on the project? The kickstarter page doesn't offer any insight to these questions.

@pixelfed Wish you could get it working smoothly, often can't get on and when I do usually sluggish. I post things there that will not appear on Masto. Seems full of glitches. Done posting there until things smooth out. Do support you though and hope you get it sorted.

@pixelfed they are worried you are gaining traction and costing them customers. watch for an avalanch of dcma takedown notices on no grounds but the hope you cannot afford to risk fighting them.

@pixelfed Have you considered creating a limited company that doesn't own anything of value but looks as if it does, getting half a billion in VC money, donating it all to the Pixelfed Foundation, and then having the LLC declare bankruptcy?

@pixelfed these posts sound a little bit like blackmail to me. You either support us or we sell. I believe you deserve some financial support and stuff but giving money to non profit organisation that owns Pixelfed would be a little bit more welcoming for me. Did you think about creating such foundation with a little bit more distributed ownership which would ensure that Pixelfed will not be sold to VC even if one persons opinion (eg. danesup) changes?
