 @chrisisgr8 I love Labo so much. Labo was Nintendo showing up to the Met Gala in greasemonkey coveralls to remind everyone where she came from. "Toy company first. Games are a kind of toy."  @chrisisgr8   The UI might be hideous but it does do a much better job of producing meaningful decompiled code than IDA or Hopper. Except Hopper is kinda better for ObjC. Sometimes.  @samhenrigold the UI is awful but the functionality is rapidly overtaking IDA Pro, also it’s free and open source and has a git-ish collaborative tool built in (another thing IDA sucks at) But also… yeah the UI is so so bad recently made the horrifying discovery that there was a kids bop cover of padam. made an edit that literally nobody wanted:   not to get political but give orange me give eat orange me eat orange give me eat orange give me you my high school boyfriend coming out to his family (while i was in the room) and them all having an absolute meltdown   I live in NYC and don’t plan to get a car any time soon. I CERTIFIABLY, MEDICALLY DO NOT HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR THIS. https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/4723163-cdc-disruptions-adhd-medicine-after-100m-fraud-arrest/  @samhenrigold I think if a company can't produce a necessary medicine in ample quantities to meet public demand, then they should lose their patent rights to the medicine.  @samhenrigold my pharmacy hasn’t been able to fill my rx for almost three months straight at this point 🙃 i love this forget the OTP autofill thing, QR code resolution in the image context menu is easily the best Mac system feature.   when something is "for Mac", it's usually at least 2x more expensive, so look for some generic ones of the same specs “i bet it’s just allergies” is the human version of “have you tried putting it in rice” I mean for me it probably is, with the amount of things I'm allergic to... birch pollen, cats, bananas, yes, bananas  CVS supports passkeys and you can create one after you log in. but they don’t let you actually sign in with passkeys. so each time you have to do email, password, then two step with SMS. and then it asks you if you wanna use a passkey. which is a really cool UX.

  @samhenrigold passkeys they’re just like passwords except if you lose your device you’re locked out forever 🤔  @samhenrigold I was curious and just added a passkey to my existing account with 2FA enabled and FWIW their website did let me sign back in without my password or 2FA. Mac Safari using 1Password for the passkey. i’ve been in DC for roughly 45 minutes and i’ve already heard the phrase “do i get a Department of Defense discount?”  @samhenrigold  @samhenrigold it’s like the management triangle but you only get to pick one at any given time  |

Wow, I didn't realise the first MacBook Pro looked so much like the PowerBook still.
Without the box I could've sworn it was my first personal laptop (Titanium PowerBook G4, I used an iMac G3/G4 before that, and briefly a Macintosh Performa before that.)
@samhenrigold Beautiful. That has to be one of the earliest built-in iSight cameras on a portable.
