when something is "for Mac", it's usually at least 2x more expensive, so look for some generic ones of the same specs

sam henri gold, yikes. Not much cheaper here either. There are some cheap ones on ebay though

@grishka update here, I got a 4GB module and a 2GB module from these guys and it works! paid $37 total including shipping https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805176693002.html
