Ran my first continuous 5k today. My personal best for this distance was apparently 30'34 min back in 2017. No clue how I managed to do that, but my goal is to beat 30 minutes this year. https://strava.app.link/pPDRBD7pzJb Now enjoying a Pita in the park.

After barely finishing that 2k yesterday, I wouldn't have thought that I'd be able to top it up to 5k just one day later. This felt great!π₯³ For some reason the Strava data is quite a bit off. Maybe my Casio watch isn't very accurate. π€

Finally getting back into #running, and I just finished my first 2k. It ain't much, but it's honest work. π₯³

Still dealing with an aching ankle after each run, but I'm optimistic that that will go away after some time. Also, although I'm trying to run as slow as I can, my pace is still quite fast, which wears me out quickly. I'm not out of breath, but my heart rate rarely drops below 140 BPM. I hope that'll improve over time.

@garritfra Life without a car is amazing! I managed to live my life like that for 35 years. Currently, my little 7 moths old girl is the only reason we have one. Good move Garrit!

A few days ago I noticed that my Pixel 7 sometimes automatically dims the screen in bright sunlight. What's weird is that the settings say the brightness is all the way up and battery saver and "extra dark" are disabled, but I can clearly see the screen dimming from one second to the next. Anyone else experiencing this?

@garritfra i think adaptive brightness will still adjust and uses the brightness slider as a sort of maximum but i could be worng on that.

@garritfra Iβve noticed this happen on my iPhone. I *think* itβs a method for managing the heat of the device. If it gets too warm, it will lower brightness to compensate.
