Still trying to figure out the best metric to run with. As mentioned, I've already nailed the "out of breath" thing. During this specific run, I tried to keep my heart rate in zone 2, which was quite difficult. Total running time and pace are two more metrics I want to explore. Any recommendations for a beginner like me? |
Still dealing with an aching ankle after each run, but I'm optimistic that that will go away after some time.
Also, although I'm trying to run as slow as I can, my pace is still quite fast, which wears me out quickly. I'm not out of breath, but my heart rate rarely drops below 140 BPM. I hope that'll improve over time.
