@endali Honestly I was so happy when I read the update log. It's so good that the devs are continuing to work on this lovely little game now that they have significantly more resources from all the new players. They could have just grabbed the money and ran but they didn't and I respect that so much. @endali Not that I'm not super happy for Godot and FNA, but how do you even choose which projects to support when making such a move? There are countless other up and coming open source game engines who'd be equally deserving of such a windfall, and I don't know that I could ever feel good about choosing some over others... I've seen people hide their non-english posts on fedi with CWs for some reason and it boggles my mind 🥴 Why do they do it? Don't be ashamed of your language. Fedi is not an English-exclusive space. It's a place for all cultures and languages. Many instances have translation APIs for a reason.

@endali very likely because they have been shamed for their other language enough times. @endali it happens because other users complained about it. no one comes here with built in fedi compliance behaviors I have very dumb question but i've always been a baby when it comes to understanding networking and such If I buy a domain, I know I technically just rent it from a registrar company, and some of the money goes as fees to ICANN, right? But why does that middleman company exist in the first place? Why can't I just directly pay ICANN for the domain? :thonking: Did the registrar companies just preclaim a bajillion domains or something? @endali My younger self would be like "wow, so webpages load instantly, right?" and a tear would appear in my current self's eye.
