 So cool! Have you guys done a lot of renovations to the interior? I've mostly read about your adventures with power delivery and storage... And the curse of trying to download Xcode on spotty cellular 🤣 @fabinou it's good to find you on here. Your blog post on Another World absolutely changed my life, thank you for writing it. Many years ago I considered putting Oquonie on the steam store, I gave up because I couldn't navigate the insanity that is the steamworks website. Today, I thought I should try it again, but I can't figure it out. It's like every other page is a 404, or a blank page that just looks like [Object object]. Utterly unusable. :bloat:

  Opened a support ticket with Steam: Hundred Rabbits: "Our account address is, for some unknown reason, set to New Zealand, and we are trying to change it to Canada, but your site gives us a 404 when pressing the Change Location button on the Steamworks page." Steam Support: "Your address has now been changed New Zealand, you should be all set now. You're welcome." Hundred Rabbits: "Wait, what-" Watched Godland(2022) last night at the Victoria Film Festival. Iceland looks terrifying and beautiful.

  @neauoire Iceland is definitely both of these things, my trip there definitely left a strong impression on me. I can understand now why almost everyone has an artistic side project around there, it's really hard not to get inspired and at the same time, art is very much needed to get through the tough parts of the year.

@neauoire This “demake” made it even more aesthetically similar to the „Monster Max” than before <3  Started adding the "dialogs" to Oquonie, @rek managed to seamlessly transcribe the alphabet to pixelart.

I've had to refer to @bd's music theory page almost every day this week, really really thankful for this knowledge base. 🎼  @neauoire thank you! :tealheart: it brightens my day when people find my work useful :D. I think we'll be building something like to bring air into the boat this summer through the saloon hatch.

 @rezmason you were asking me how I'd handle the chromatic distortion with only 4 colors last time, here's how we've done it I've been thinking about the music for Oquonie, and I keep on coming back to the Crab Canon(an arrangement of two musical lines that are complementary and backward) I've got to tie this in somehow, it's the perfect match to the game's non-euclideaness. bach wrote all kinds of canons (including crab ... ?) using the (chromatic) "royal theme" given to him by prussian king frederick ii in _das_musikalische_opfer_ i think all of bach's music is in the public domain ... - it looks like a fun game, good luck! |
