@oatmeal what is funny about seeing you pop up on the fedi is that I always make your avatar face π€© I can't really draw but please enjoy this candy headbanging skull π€ ππ¬

@oatmeal or finding ways to hurt/maim your owner... like going from a sitting position to 60mph in 0.5s almost ripping your owners shoulder out of the socket and/or pulling them face first into the ground and dragging them! @oatmeal 100% my greyhound Gus. In his early years, Hubs and I resigned ourselves to coming home and finding him gone because he chewed through a cord or, I donβt know, ate glass or something. But heβs 9 and still alive, much to our amazement.

Old but gold. Sorry for all the repeats. I haven't been putting out new comics because I've been working on a Netflix series for the past year. @oatmeal I don't mind the repeats, I'm just happy to see your posts on mastodon! @oatmeal Now you will be paid in exposurecoin. It's the same thing, but it's on a blockchain now.

I think the best way to handle blogs and followers is to have your blog support RSS and ActivityPub so people on the Fediverse can easily follow it. And non-fedi followers can comment by making an account on your blog that's secretly also a fediverse account. The only downside is that now you're not just hosting a blog but also a fediverse server. It would surprise me if the system for this didn't already exist.

@oatmeal welcome on the fediverse Matthew! It works a bit different then the birdsite here. Search works on #hashtags and posts spread by boosting. Make an #introductions post so people can find you and pin it to your profile so that new browsers can read it. And *nope* please don't explode the servers on #caturday :bongoCat: |
@oatmeal@mastodon.social I see you live in Northern Europe too? π
@oatmeal it should say solar eclipse as a lunar eclipse is not at all rare. Lunar eclipses are visible to half of the planet all at once. Solar eclipses are very local.
I would share this if it would say solar.
