@oatmeal
I need at least 24 hours to recover mentally and emotionally from a party.

@oatmeal second frame just replace the book with a nice builder game and you nailed it

@oatmeal I don't remember where I read that two different kinds of people exist. The one that with social interaction gains coins or "energy" and the one that loose coins with every interaction.

@pennyivy

@bitbyte Probably Myers Briggs. I get frustrated that I have to explain that being introverted does not mean I am shy.

@bitbyte @oatmeal

That one thing is what differentiates introverts from extroverts.

@bitbyte @oatmeal One of the Big Five personality traits is extraversion (the E in OCEAN). It has, AFAIK, a normal distribution so there are about as many extraverts (high E) as there are introverts (low E). I’m at the tenth percentile so just the idea of a party is enough for me to need a day of rest :-)

Bowreality

@oatmeal @bitbyte Simon Sinek says something like this. Introverts wake up with a full battery and over the day out in the world it looses charge. Extroverts need to go out to charge it instead.

@oatmeal He's charging with that Tesla Beam Power that the Oatmeal made up.

@oatmeal I wish I could boost/favorite this a thousand times. Completely agree.

@oatmeal thank you The Oatmeal for rounding up all the introverts in this one thread.

@oatmeal I feel very seen. Fabulous as always, oatmeal folks.

Bowreality

@oatmeal switch it around for extroverts. I still believe we are more introverts than extroverts. But extroverts run the (at least corporate) world.

@oatmeal For women, it's the other way around, isn't it? πŸ˜‰

@oatmeal It can only be understood by people over 40.
