@dramypsyd I disagree. The term "philanthropist" is tailor made for improving the image of rich people. Ask yourself: when was the last time a poor person was characterized a philanthropist? @dramypsyd Perfection. I'm 41 (and almost 3 months) and just realized on my birthday that I'm trans and came out and everything, so it's definitely my prime. @dramypsyd Hummmm! Not sure you are for real. I have 3 pages of surgeries that would disprove this crap! Stop demanding people out themselves. Some queer people have homophobic/transphobic relatives and it’s not safe for their sexual orientation or gender identity to get back to their family. Some queer people live in states where the government is actively trying to kill them. Some queer people simply don’t want to share that information with you.

@dramypsyd I've always found it awkward and never came out to my parents. They just figured it out cause I would mention girl crushes. Like why do you have to tell you randomly what genders I like. Stop assuming everyone is straight. For my book on neurodiversity-affirming therapy for autistic people, I want to include some information for providers about the medical issues autistic people are more likely to have. NONE of my training talked about this, and it could help people to know what they might want to ask their doctor to test for. Anyway please @actuallyautistic let me know what to include on that list?

@dramypsyd @actuallyautistic One huge thing is that reaction to meds is, to put it mildly, atypical. Also that it is important to listen. Like, literally listen. I have been cut off in the midst of describing something, with responses like "not possible", "ridiculous", You're making it up", etc. Not a way to establish trust.Often times autistics will research symptoms and meds before consult in order to understand them. Demanding blind faith and trust is very bad. @dramypsyd Insomnia is a common one I hear from my autistic friends and I experience myself. I saw a meme on tumblr earlier that said the best response to “Can you explain this gap in your resume” is “No I signed an NDA”

The other person on the other side of the tracks is facing the same problem because his loved ones and your loved ones are the same set on your side of the tracks. This simplifies matters considerably: Consolidate the loved ones and increase the strangers.
