As expected after their customer survey, @protonprivacy released a "AI mail writing bullshit assistant".

On Reddit, two kinds of reactions:

1. The negatives: asking about the privacy, the ecological impact, the money/time spent on this instead of other features.

2. The positives: thanking the developers for not enabling the feature by default.

Despite this, I’m sure people at Proton are convinced that this one the most important/urgent thing the Email world needed.

NEW, by me: A data breach at the phone surveillance operation mSpy has exposed millions of its customers who bought access to the phone spyware app over the past decade, as well as the Ukrainian company behind it.

Troy Hunt, who runs data breach notification site Have I Been Pwned, added about 2.4 million unique email addresses of mSpy customers to his site’s catalog of past data breaches.

NEW: Apple has removed several VPN apps from the App Store in Russia after the government censorship agency flagged the apps, according to app makers.

VPN makers shared a letter they received from Apple with us.

"We are writing to notify you that your application, per demand from Roskomnadzor will be removed from the Russia App Store because it includes content that is illegal in Russia," the letter read.

Apple, for now, doesn't comment.

@aral Very good thought. I see politics as a game for the politicians and their supporters and survival or distruction for the many of us. Note the destruction of the middle class, pay-check to pay-check existance of so many. Homeless can come so easily by the death or abandonment of a partner or ill health. Politicians ultimately create the conditions for this unjust system. Who Benefits? The banking system, for profit healthcare, pharmaceutical companies, insurance. Those that own the politicians. For them it is a game.
