I am a true believer in KISS (Keep It Simple Silly). This Carousel feature would be ideal for our Collections feature. I'm planning on supporting image uploads for collections, that don't belong to a specific post, and don't get transcoded/optimized, so you can create Collections of trips, events or whatever and have the ability to customize the presentation and even add captions. Such an amount of money is likely a rounding error for them. I don't think any small open source project is considered a threat to them, only one that has major financial backing to promote and fund it. Your work is appreciated but how much is it worth to you?
