Lols when I was at akamai I suggested using the torrent protocol to distribute already built files in a build system and to devs.

so it should really be listed as its own thing

That is a question I often make to myself, if it's a remote server, sure, you are the only one with the ssh private key; but it's yours?
Like stop paying and see what happen, can you buy the hardware and rent the space so you only loose access until you come to get it?
It's nice to see projects like yours trying to make things easier for people!

I'm really wondering about the priorities your different products have.

Pixelfeld:

- HEIC not supported
- MOV not supported
- When creating posts with multiple pictures you can't switch between these pictures
- You can only change the picture order after posting and then editing the post

But then there's an instant messenger coming.

@pixelfed offer to download their data before and block the account deletion for a while if they wanted their data first (while disabling the account in the meantime)

@pixelfed 1. Have a really big in your face message with "ALL YOUR DATA WILL HE DELETED. THIS CAN NOT HE UNDONE"
2. Have them type that phrase before you can confirm deletion.
3. Have an option to delay deletion my 30 days or whatever in case you change your mind.
4. Have an option right there to download everything first.
