@pixelfed hey, wanted to mention something about fedidb

fedidb.org/network/instance/lo

this server loforo.com runs a custom activitypub implementation, and also has a custom mastodon api implementation that claims to be 4.0.2

so it should really be listed as its own thing

@Rairii then it should report a different software in the nodeinfo, that is what FediDB uses to determine software like most other crawlers

They should really change that if they want to be differentiated

@pixelfed i wonder if they deliberately call themselves mastodon because some clients refuse to use any server that doesn't even if it supports the mastodon api :/
