@pixelfed i wonder if they deliberately call themselves mastodon because some clients refuse to use any server that doesn't even if it supports the mastodon api :/

@Rairii that shouldn't be the case, we are compatible with mastodon clients and we use our own software name

@pixelfed i heard at least one client does that. anyway i just thought i'd let you know because i doubt they'll fix it any time soon
