⚡ We have re-enabled the experimental home feed on pixelfed.social after fixing a few bugs! You may notice posts in your home feed from accounts you do not follow, this is the hashtag follow feature! You can mute accounts, or unfollow hashtags to clean up your feed. We are working to improve your home feed with advanced filtering tools that will be shipping later this month! @pixelfed It's not clear which hashtags I follow, and how the system picked them for me. ✨ Home feed + Hashtag follows We have re-enabled hashtag follows on pixelfed.social after deploying a fix, let us know if you encounter any issues! We have paused the experimental home feed test on pixelfed.social to work out a few bugs, your home feeds are back to normal. A fix will be shipped and we will re-enable this once ready! ✨ Hashtag Follows + Pixelfed App We're adding support to follow/unfollow hashtags on our official app. A new build will be rolling out later today to Android + iOS users!

Will the Pixelfed app actually appear in the share menu on Android at some point? that would be a great Feature. ⚡ Home feed + Hashtag follows We have shipped experimental hashtag follow in home feed support for webUI and mobile apps! It's disabled by default, but admins can easily enable it by setting an .env variable 😎 Since the last update, I can no longer switch accounts or log out because the menu is no longer accessible.   ⚡ Smoother Scrolling + #pixelfedApp TestFlight users: Android users: @pixelfed Scrolling does seem smoother! Would like to see full length portrait previews without having to tap to open them. Maybe it could be a user preference?

⚠️ Android beta testers Have you seen the "Package appears to be invalid" error when attempting to update? Simply uninstall the app, and re-install from scratch! (We're in the process of submitting the first build to the Play Store, soon it will be much easier to get and update the app)

 @pixelfed Inpsired me to post, but the Locations don't seem to have my images location. Boo. *scurries off to find how to add one @pixelfed Any plans to open up pixelfed.art any time soon? I'm trapped in my current profile on pixelfed.social and want to start again on .art with the login via mastodon option.  |
@pixelfed This will change everything about #Fediverse, I believe. A native app - can't wait for iOS :4bear_chuckle:
P.S: Also, kudos to @vernissage for making iOS users happy with a third-party app.
@pixelfed any plans for a basic image editor (crop+brightness/contrast..) before uploading?
