@dansup is there a feature planned, to filter threads users from the list?

The fediverse integration of threads is still pretty limited and most of the users, that contribute to the shown follower numbers are in fact not part of the fediverse.

Also the fact, that a lot of instances have blocked threads makes the first couple of pages of the popular fediverse accounts non-representative of the experience of a lot of people.

@dansup Picking a random selection, some of these people have not used the fediverse in one or two years.

Seems pointless listing them!

@dansup hey is there a reason for the more than five users condition? we're implementing #activitypub for static websites and most will have a single user (the website itself). probably wordpress and ghost implement it similarly?

This means admins can easily mass delete media by profile ids, locally or on S3

@dansup safety should come from access control rather than randomness. Unpredictability isn’t access control because like unlisted YouTube videos, once you know the random URL, you would be able to view it. The topic of file safety is incomplete without mentioning access control

Isn't that kind of a problem if I , say, accidently enter my Password because I work in multiple windows?

The same applies to other maybe sensitive data that were entered accidentally.

With the history everyone will see that data. Or can a user disable that feature?

I installed it the other day, other than not being able to set the avatar, loving it. It handles the large images that mastodon doesn't like and that alone is HUGE

Just makes me want our own instance of pix.mpaq.org more 😊
