 @pixelfed This would be a key feature to migrate to other Fediverse platforms: #Mastodon, #Pleroma, etc How would that happen? And is it part of or an extension to #ActivityPub? You can now edit the license of your statuses. We're working on adding more fields to edit, stay tuned!

@pixelfed the feature for import Instagram exported backups is now stable and tested?  @pixelfed do you keep the timeline? Correct license for a download will depend on download not display time :-) (tricky! Pixel chain :-))

 @pixelfed wondered what happened to this - thing is my Profile like counts showed me which type/genre of photos were doing better than others... now I have no idea as all are just liked? But OK looks like I'll see in next release on my profile. Network Timeline will be shipping in the next release (v0.10.11). New and existing instances can take advantage of a new discovery feature to bootstrap federation (with other Pixelfed instances) without relays or follow bots.

 @pixelfed can’t wait to try this out! Will it mean that you can discover posts from other instances via hashtags? That would be my biggest feature request! Hello Creative Commons! You can now add a CC license to your posts. We are working on federation support and the ability to change licenses on older posts. #pixelfed #creativeCommons We choose to experiment with post edits and do other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard. If we want better alternatives we need to take risks and accept when they fail. 🚀  We shipped a few comment improvements! - Autocomplete hashtags + mentions While this is only available for timeline comments, we plan to roll this out to the rest of :pixelfed: later this week.  @pixelfed oh nice, is this already on dev branch, so instance get it simply by git pull. Or is it in for next release?  @pixelfed @pixelfed I am looking forward to this! Will this utility allow one to install on a shared Apache host?!
@pixelfed I might have missed it, but is it currently possible to follow a pixelfed account from a mastodon instance? If not, is this planned anytime soon?

Restricted Mode is a new safety feature that will be rolling out soon. - Limit access to logged in users for every endpoint and page - Limit federation to approved instances - Compatible with mobile apps - Bulk import approved instances - Invite based registrations Our safety and moderation tools like disabled comments, spam detection and violation warnings are unique in the fediverse. We have been working on a new generation of safety and moderation tools that will be rolling out soon! @pixelfed this is just wonderful! We gotta prepare for those, too! Video on pixelfed isn't great, the feature hasn't evolved as much as photos have. We're changing that, a new video experience will be rolling out soon!
