I see a lot of comics like this on Mastodon and Bluesky. No joke given, nor even a point made. Often not even comprehensible. The best explanation that I have come up with is that the author had a moment they personally found amusing/interesting and then made a cartoon out of it.

 @warandpeas I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but you also have RSS - I subscribe to your work via Feedly reader.  We’ve been making WAPS for over a decade now. In this era, we’ve created tons of characters and hundreds of strips. Nevertheless, we rely on the help of the community. If you can afford it, please support us so we can continue to publish comics for free 🧙🧙 I love the keep going shirt! Is it the reverse of the broken heart? I didn’t see it but am foggy as hell today and it just clicked.

@warandpeas I laughed! However, if I may add a small suggestion: I think it would have been even funnier if the joke wasn't spelled out in its entirety before the punchine. For example, her dialog in the 3rd panel could be: "But what if there's a Zombie apocalypse?" The man would be confused by this random question, as would the reader be, and then panel 4 delivers the punchline.
