The closer we get to November 5th, the more our social networks remind me of this image. @henry On the plus side, Mastodon being an option without algorithms pushing content aimed at engagement through divisive content is nice. That with a well curated filter / mute/drop list is very helpful during all of this imo. It definitely lessens the amount of nonsense and arguing over politics in my feed here daily and makes it a place where I can focus on tech stuff. Today I am testing cross-posting Bluesky on myself. I created a bridge between profiles on Mastodon, Telegram, and Bluesky itself. In total, @mastogram connects 8 of my profiles in various networks. Also, several early adopters have signed up for testing with me. And I can't wait for the system to be ready for them. By the way, my account on Bluesky: @henryfisher.bsky.social #Bluesky #Crossposting #SocialMedia #Mastodon #Telegram #EarlyAdopter #Testing @henry @mastogram that reminds us how broken are our social media that we have to have 8 accounts and set up crossposting to all of them The cross-poster @mastogram for BlueSky + Telegram + Mastodon is almost ready. Before I finalize the interface, I would like to test the functionality. Who wants to be the first test user? A good opportunity to appear on two platforms at once! Share with friends, maybe there are those who are eager. @rf #BlueSky #Telegram #Mastodon #CrossPosting #SocialMediaIntegration #Testing

I just wrote my angry post about Google Play, and then went to Stripe and saw this. Have they all gone crazy today? It seemed like with digitalization we would have less bureaucracy. Turns out it's the opposite! #GooglePlay #Stripe #bureaucracy #digitalization @henry Hot take: computers *are* bureaucracy. They raise the capacity of a human to deal with inane steps and calculations, and they allow the bureaucrat side to verify more complicated steps and calculations. To eliminate bureaucracy, you need to go back to people counting on their fingers and carving documents in stone tablets. I remember the times when registering an app on Google Play took 1 minute. Today, you have to upload your passport, fill out a billion forms, wait for moderation from a few days to several weeks, and don’t forget to periodically log into the damn panel and check if those bastards have come up with something new. "Don't be evil", damn it! #GooglePlay #AppDevelopment #TechFrustration #DigitalBureaucracy ...but, isn't that beautiful? Now people have a fair choice between Musk-scum and Crypto-scam! 😜 I predict the launch of BlueSky-coin in the coming months. #BlueSkyCoin #Cryptocurrency #Launch Hello! We’ve rolled out an update for Mastogram today! 🎹🐱 We now automatically insert a link to the original post when reblogging in Mastodon. 🎥🐱 The issue with uploading videos from Telegram has been resolved. 📎🐱 If the video is too large to be uploaded to Mastodon, we will now include a link to the original Telegram post. 🔖🐱 A new #nofw tag has been added to allow Mastogram to ignore specific posts. I think that in the process of "witch hunting," it is necessary to be consistent and remove all the code that "maintainers associated with Russia" have produced since their first day of participation in the project. Some days are hard...sheesh, some months are hard, and sometimes our brain isn't as helpful giving us a hand up when we trip as we might like. But, we get back up. That's the important bit. We get back up. :blobcathearthug: The soundtrack to #Kundun is beautiful. @henry Now that's one amazing picture! Imperfection and almost chaos draws the viewer's eye towards the perfection within the picture.
I think it's usually called art, but not always recognised as such.
Congrats!
